We have gathered over 2500 signatures from FL residents and please only Florida Residents must support this Petition in order to get it to the law makers for a change of the law. F. S. Chapter 83, Part II of the Florida Residential Landlord-Tenant Act has no provisions that prevent a Landlord from misusing the common law against helpless tenants. WKMG has run entire stories on this abuse. Many have privately written to our law makers to make a change to assist good tenants.
